Last week, however, construction workers there made an interesting discovery: human remains. Campus police were called and were able to determine that this was not a crime scene but a possible ancient burial ground. Later, the state's cultural anthropologist was called in and the university is now awaiting those findings. In the meantime, construction is on hold until the findings are determined and finalized. Forensic anthropologists are surveying the scene and have not said when they might have answers. Maria O'Mara, a university spokesperson, said the results of that analysis will shed more light on the situation. Who says construction is boring?
